[Another day in Willard H. Wright's life.

He's outside the Pokemon Center, enjoying a nice day without having to worry about anything. Lion went shopping with Shinn, so he had no reason to worry about any kind of thing for now. After Trisa's prank, he was glad to get back his clothes.

He seems to be reading a good book.

Diana, his persian, decides to go to sleep in his right shoulder. Anna, his glameow, thinks that napping in his left shoulder would be a good idea too. His absol, Dlanor, aims for his lap and rest comforable over there. Katherine aims for his head, completely in love with Will's charm or something like that. Nora, Will's other Glameow, wants to play too and goes for his chest.

Which leaves the Skitty with only one goal: HIS FACE.

So, she's jumping to rest in Will's face. Yup, it's going to be hard to read that book with a Skitty in your face. However, Will doesn't seem to mind at all. Cat pile ftw and that. And yes, he did turn on the device to ask something, and he will do it with all the cats on him.]

Hn. I have meant to ask this before, but what do you think about the mystery genre? I want to hear what you have to say.

[Oh, the skitty spots Will's hair and decides to start noming at it. Will is going to end the feed with a small, really small chuckle.]

[Will nods at that. He's pretty interested in what kind of author he is, or what kind of things he doe write about. If he's fan of the mystery genre following all the Knox's and Van Dine's.]

I see. What about the "Who dunnit", "How dunnit" and "Why dunnit"? Most of the mystery writers do not pay attention to the third one, not giving it the credit it deserves.

That's true.

I haven't written many of those myself. It's a lot harder to keep a stories plot going when you already know who and how. Though I think I've written one or two.... I like to try different types.

I take it you're a mystery fan. Do you write anything?

Hn. Interesting. Many times I have seen people ignoring the Heart of them... It's pleasant to meet someone who values it as well, even if you don't write about it so much.

I'm an Inquisitor. [A small pause.] A retired detective. I work under the Van Dine's Commandments.

Really? It's a pleasure to meet you.

And like I said, I like trying different types. You're right about most people ignoring things like that. I'm afraid now a days most people tend to write the same story and just stick a new character into the plot.

Though I think that's still better then the people who find new talent and then just stick their name on the work and take most of the credit for it.

You're right. People just gave up trying to think for themselves.

[He sighs.]

It's such a shame when that happens.

Those are the people I can't stand at all.

[He nods, yeah he agrees with that.]

What about you? What do you think is the most important part of the mystery genre?

A long time ago, I only cared for solving the mystery without minding anything else.

But... I have come to realize that the most important thing to understand is the Heart.

[He nods.]

That's a good thing to realize.

That's why I cannot stand people who just ignore it.

Have you run into many people like that?

Hn. You'd be surprised. I left my job because of that.

That's unfortunate. So you're not a detective any more?

I'm retired after one last case.

[He nods.]

Was that what you were working on before you arrived here then?

That's correct. I was working for a chance of a happy ending.

....A happy ending?

What do you mean?

As an Inquisitor I have seen many stories breaking apart with all of them ending in the cruelest ways with no chance of happiness. I got tired of that... I for once wanted to make a happy ending to come.

[A pause as he thinks back to his own....adventure.]

That's a noble cause. And a hard one.

Were you having any luck?

I want to believe I reached it, despite anything.
